New year, same me?

Every year that ends brings with itself a new year full of hope and expectations and it's pretty normal to make New Year Resolutions. The problem with these resolutions is that most of the time they can't be made, which tends to ruin our mood for a while. But are these resolutions good or bad?

Setting objectives is always good, no matter what. Having a goal makes you exert yourself and work hard until you reach it. It 's the extra motivation that you need to make an effort and confront things. Also, when you reach your goal you feel really proud of yourself, which is an extraordinary feeling.

However, sometimes we set objectives that are too high or that are too difficult to reach. For example, if you never do any sport it's very unlikely to become and athlete. For this reason, the best thing you can do is to set goals that you can reach, and after reaching them set another goal, this time more difficult. Little steps.

All in all, resolutions are a way of motivate yourself and motivation is always great. But if you dont see yourself making them happen or you think you may fail, better not set them, you dont need to discourage yourself anyway.
